Checking in and out
On arrival, your room will be ready at 3pm.
Please note that you must have checked in by 10.30pm on your arrival day.
On departure, please check out of your room by 11am.

Parking is free for The Brackenrigg Inn guests on site. You can also park at Another Place as you have full use of everything at the hotel.
At Another Place, there are five Electric Vehicle (EV) charging points. These are in the lower car park next to the sheep shed. Please download the 'Monta EV charging' app for further information. The units are untethered, please bring your own charging lead. Once your car is fully charged please move it to another parking space so other guests can use the facility.

Access to Another Place
Guests have full access to everything Another Place offers including Swim Club, the swimming pool, Kids’ Zone and lake sports lessons. Book lessons online or through Guest Services.
When we take payment
Payment is taken in full at the time of booking.
How we take payment
We take cash and accept card payments via Visa and Mastercard only.
Room Rate
All prices are calculated per room, per night, based on occupancy
What is included in the rooms?
Each room has a robe, land&water products including shampoo, conditioner and body wash, tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, WIFI, flat-screen TV and Ruark Bluetooth radio speaker. We do not provide shower caps, body lotion, sewing kits or slippers.
Baths and showers
Every room is en-suite with a shower, but only one has a bath. Contact our reservations team for full details of each room and to make specific requests.
Lake views
Most of our rooms have a view over Ullswater. One double room does not have a view of the lake.
Air conditioning
Our rooms do not have air conditioning.
Dog friendly
All our rooms are dog-friendly.
Dogs are charged an additional £15 per night for one dog, or £20 for two.
Dog beds and water bowls are provided.

Sunday opening is midday to 10,30pm
Breakfast at The Brackenrigg
Breakfast at The Brackenrigg is a continental selection including freshly baked pastries, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit, fruit salad, yoghurts, toast and jams, fruit juice, tea and coffee.

The pub serves food midday - 8.30pm Monday to Saturday
Midday - 8pm on Sunday
Dining at Another Place
Rampsbeck Restaurant
Breakfast is served from 7.30am to 10am. If guests would like a cooked breakfast they can pay a supplement to dine (£10 for adults, £5 for children). Booking is essential.
Please book for breakfast and dinner online or through Guest Services.
Rampsbeck Restaurant is not dog friendly
Opening hours: 6pm – 9pm
You can choose from a two-course or three-course dinner option, view a sample menu.
The Living Space
Food is served from 12-3pm and 5pm-9pm.

The Glasshouse
Food is served from midday to 2pm, 3pm to 8pm during the summer months.
In the winter the Glasshouse closes at 5pm.
Thursday to Monday, closed Tuesday and Wednesdays for private hire.
Afternoon Tea
We do not do afternoon tea, but we have scones, cake, coffee and tea on our Living Space menu
All areas of the hotel Swim Club are available to guests of The Brackenrigg.

Treatments are available to book online.
The pool
The pool is 20m long with a shallow area for younger children and families.
Adult-only swim times
Adult-only sessions usually run from 7am - 9am and 6pm - 9pm (7pm in school holidays).
Hot tub and sauna
We have a hot tub and sauna overlooking the grounds. We ask that you limit your session to 20 minutes if people are waiting. For ages 16+.
Cardio room/gym
In the cardio room, you’ll find a matrix hybrid cross-trainer and rowing machine, a treadmill and a fitness bike. The hotel also has free weights, medicine balls and yoga mats.
Guests of The Brackenrigg can use Kids' Zone and supervised sessions.

Shops
The nearest grocery store is two miles away at Pooley Bridge. Penrith is a 15-minute drive away and has a pharmacy and larger stores.
