40 bedrooms span the original Georgian building and the new contemporary wing. But, Another Place is more than just a hotel.
Inside you’ll find Rampsbeck Restaurant, The Living Space bar and terrace, a relaxed library and Swim Club, our take on a spa.
Outside, Another Place covers 18 acres of National Park. Walk to the private lakeshore through the gardens, or detour via the Sheep Shed to pick up a wetsuit and a stand-up paddleboard.

Another Place is surrounded by 18 acres of National Park with a private lakeshore. Look out for wildlife around the grounds, including – more than ever – red squirrels.
Relax into a treatment. Give some time over to the sauna, the outdoor hot tub and the 20m infinity pool. ‘Swimming in the view’ might sound a bit idealistic, but in Swim Club it’s every bit the truth.

Three-course dinners inspired by Cumbria and made with local produce. Herdwick lamb, Morecambe Bay shrimp, vegetables and salad from the hotel’s kitchen garden on a daily changing menu.
