What will you find at The Lake?

Open-water swimming, sailing, stand-up paddle boarding, kayaking, cycling, walking and skiing allow you to explore the stunning location – a place that has shaped so much of this hotel, from the colours and textures of its interiors to the active, laid back living it promotes.

In Swim Club, you’ll find a warm 20-metre indoor pool and treatment rooms, while gathering spaces are woven throughout the hotel and grounds. You can also get married here.

Good food is at the heart of The Lake – as is the chance to come together round a table, fire pit or picnic. The hotel’s chefs are making the most of Cumbria’s outstanding produce, as well as their own kitchen garden.

About Another place

Another Place is a new, evolving hotel collection from the team behind Watergate Bay Hotel – which is lending the collection its relaxed, active and social ethos. It’s all about creating original experiences in distinctive locations.

While each Another Place hotel will share this defining philosophy, they will reflect their distinct, always exceptional location. Whether by the coast, in the countryside or the city, each hotel will derive inspiration from its particular surroundings.

Another Place is growing at a pace that gives it time enough to instil in its hotels qualities that are instinctive and relevant, yet surprising and refined.

There’s more to come. Watch this space.
