Dogs are welcome at Another Place all year round. With Ullswater and the fells on your doorstep, the Lake District is a permanent playground with endless space, footpaths, trails, lakes and rivers waiting to be explored.
Step outside
18 acres of secluded Lake District National Park offer early risers the space to exercise canine companions before breakfast, roaming in our gardens or along the private stretch of Ullswater shoreline.
Recharge inside
Recharge in one of our dog-friendly rooms, choose a shepherd hut in the grounds, a treehouse amongst the oak trees, a family cottage, lake view suites, or double rooms in the main hotel.
Restaurants
Dogs are welcome in The Living Space bar and restaurant and the Glasshouse close to the shoreline.
Make a splash
Relax in the 25m pool, unwind in the outdoor hot tub, and get out on the lake or into the fells. Another Place is made for adventure. You can borrow wetsuits and book paddleboarding, wild swimming, kayaking and archery from the Sheep Shed.

Follow our lead
Guests are welcome to bring a maximum of two well-behaved, house-trained dogs per room, charged at £15 per night for the first dog and £5 per night for an additional dog. Take a look at our dog house rules.
Book at our dog-friendly hotel select your dog in the extras step after choosing your room. Not all our rooms are dog-friendly, but we will do our best to accommodate your request.
