Holiday supervised sessions
In the school holidays we have sessions everyday:
6mths to under 3years: 3.45-5pm.
3-7 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm
8-12 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm

Christmas holidays
Staying with us during festive period? Find out what's going on in Kids' Zone — from Christmas decoration making to forest school and lots of fun activities in between. Book onto any of the below Kids' Zone sessions through the app. For those 3-12 years.
Monday 15 December: Night time torch walk
6.30-9pm. Grab some torches and join us on a night hike around the hotel grounds.
Tuesday 16 December: Christmas mocktail making
1.15-3.15pm. Design, mix and pour your own Christmas mocktail.
Wednesday 17 December: Recycle decoration challenge
1.15-3.15pm. Make your own Christmas decoration from recycled materials.
Friday 19 December: Forest School
1.15-3.15pm. Join the Kids' Zone team and head out to forest school. Sessions vary between den building, campfire cooking, scavenger hunts and more.
Book onto the 6.30pm supervised session through the app.
Saturday 20 December: Film night
6.30-9.30pm. Join the Kids' Zone team for a Minions themed film night with snacks!
Sunday 21 December: Decorating festive treats
1.15-3.15pm. Join the Kids' Zone team to decorate festive treats.
Monday 22 December: Tree decorations
1.15-3.15pm. Join the team to make a Christmas tree decoration.
Saturday 27 December: Recycling challenge
1.15-3.15pm. Join the winter wonderland themed recycling challenge.
Sunday 28 December: Science Booth
6.30-9.30pm. A crazy chemistry show and interactive science workshop, with explosive experiments and the chance to make your own to take away with you.
Monday 29 December: Festive mocktails
1.15-3.15pm. Design, mix and pour your own festive mocktail.
Friday 2 January: Forest school

Baby monitoring
Subject to availability, we have a baby monitoring tablets that can be used in Rampsbeck, The Living Space and the library. Only available for use on the hotel grounds.

For babysitting requests, please contact our Kids' Zone team. Subject to availability.
Family activities
Explore our range of fun family activities including, archery, kayaking and workshops on the shores of Ullswater.
Kayaking
5+ and 8+ years | From £30 per person
Explore the bays and islands up and down the lake by kayak.
Stand-up paddleboarding
8+ years | £40 per person | £30 hire
Our fully qualified instructors tailor each session. Stand Up Paddleboarding is a great family activity.
Rafted canoe
5+ years | From £30 per person
Paddle together, as a group in two canoes tied together, creating our most stable craft.
Archery
7+ years | £20 per person
Our coaches run through the basics of archery for children and adults. Theory and safety, then shooting at targets in the hotel grounds.
