In the school holidays we have sessions everyday:
6mths to under 3years: 3.45-5pm.
3-7 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm
8-12 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm

Saturday 18 October – 6.30.9.30pm: Movie Night Hotel Transylvania
Sunday 19 October - 11am-12pm: Cool Creatures returns to The Living Space
Monday 20 October – 1.15-3.15pm: Spooky Mocktail Making. Design your own mocktail, then have fun mixing and pouring your drink before decorating
Tuesday 21 October – 1.15- 3.15pm: DIY Wands. Let your imagination run wild as you design your perfect wand – no two wands are the same!
Wednesday 22 October – 1.15- 3.15pm: Forest School. Sessions vary between den building, campfire cooking, scavenger hunts and more.
Friday 24 October – 6.30 – 9.30pm: Night Walk. Grab a head torch and come exploring the hotel grounds with the Kids Zone team at night.
Saturday 25 October – 6.30.9.30pm: Movie Night Hotel Transylvania

Join us in Kids' Zone for forest school. Sessions vary between den building, campfire pizza making, scavenger hunting and more.

Claire's Cool Creatures
Sunday 19 October - 11am-12pm
Meet animals from all over the world right here in our Living Space. Come face to face with a giant African land snail, a Giant African millipede, a tree frog, a royal python snake, a silkie hen and a crested gecko.
Pumpkin carving
Tuesday 28 October - 1.15-3.15pm
Join the team to carve your spookiest pumpkin designs to decorate Kids Zone. Book on to the Kids' Zone session to attend.
Baby monitoring
Subject to availability, we have a baby monitoring tablets that can be used in Rampsbeck, The Living Space and the library. Only available for use on the hotel grounds.

For babysitting requests, please contact our Kids' Zone team. Subject to availability.
Family activities
Explore our range of fun family activities including, archery, kayaking and workshops on the shores of Ullswater.
Kayaking
5+ and 8+ years | From £30 per person
Explore the bays and islands up and down the lake by kayak.
Stand-up paddleboarding
8+ years | £40 per person | £30 hire
Our fully qualified instructors tailor each session. Stand Up Paddleboarding is a great family activity.
Rafted canoe
5+ years | From £30 per person
Paddle together, as a group in two canoes tied together, creating our most stable craft.
Archery
7+ years | £20 per person
Our coaches run through the basics of archery for children and adults. Theory and safety, then shooting at targets in the hotel grounds.
