In the school holidays we have sessions everyday:
6mths to under 3years: 3.45-5pm.
3-7 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm
8-12years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm

Action Ants
Multiple dates
Join the multisport ‘Action Ants’ coaches and take part in Junior Total Warrior, mini crossbow, archery and lots more. Book as part of the 1.15-3.15pm supervised session on the Another Place App.

Science booth
Multiple dates
Join us in Kids' Zone at 6.30pm for a crazy chemistry show and interactive science workshop. There'll be amazing science experiments, with plenty of bangs, pops and flames.
To join, places need to be booked on the 6.30pm supervised session. Places are limited to 20 children, aged 3-12years.

Claire's Cool Creatures
Various dates
Meet animals from all over the world right here in our Living Space. Come face to face with a giant African land snail, a Giant African millipede, a tree frog, a royal python snake, a silkie hen and a crested gecko.

Circus skills
Multiple dates
Book onto the 1.15-3.15pm Kids Zone session through the Another Place App to watch a circus entertainer Andy the Jester perform circus tricks and even get the opportunity to try them out for yourselves. Expect juggling, stilt walking, unicycle riding and more.
24 July and 21 August
Baby monitoring
Subject to availability, we have a baby monitoring tablets that can be used in Rampsbeck, The Living Space and the library. Only available for use on the hotel grounds.

For babysitting requests, please contact our Kids' Zone team. Subject to availability.
Family activities
Explore our range of fun family activities including, archery, kayaking and workshops on the shores of Ullswater.
Kayaking
5+ and 8+ years | From £30 per person
Explore the bays and islands up and down the lake by kayak.
Stand-up paddleboarding
8+ years | £40 per person | £30 hire
Our fully qualified instructors tailor each session. Stand Up Paddleboarding is a great family activity.
Rafted canoe
5+ years | From £30 per person
Paddle together, as a group in two canoes tied together, creating our most stable craft.
Archery
7+ years | £20 per person
Our coaches run through the basics of archery for children and adults. Theory and safety, then shooting at targets in the hotel grounds.
