Christmas old fashioned cocktail

Serves one

• 50ml Lakes whiskey

• 15ml spiced sugar

• 2 dashes of Angostura

• Star anise

• Slice of dried orange

1. Add two dashes of Angostura to shaker

2. Pour in 15ml of spiced sugar

3. Add a scoop of ice

4. Pour in 50ml of Lake whiskey and stir together

5. Pour through a Boston strainer into a rocks glass containing a large cube of ice

6. Garnish with star anise and a slice of dried orange
