SAILING IN THE LAKE DISTRICT

Twenty miles of coastline beckon, with spots for wild swimming and even an island or two to navigate. You can learn to sail on Ullswater, hire sailing dinghies or larger more stable traditional boats. If you prefer a skipper so you can watch the world go by you can schedule your own yacht charter. Sailing is best from May, June to late October
