KAYAKING AND CANOEING
IN THE LAKE DISTRICT
Paddle in hand, you’ll have seven miles of lake to explore. Drift along the lake shore in a sea kayak, or get out with the whole family in open top canoes.

Group: Up to eight people. Children 8 years and over. Children age 10-17 years need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Explore Ullswater in comfort with expert tuition using a two person sea kayak or canoe. Get the best view and explore hidden bays and islands, and see Ullswater from a different perspective.
Rafted Canoe
Cost: £30pp
Duration: 1 hour
Group: Up to eight people. Children 5 years and over. Children age 5-17 years need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Paddle together, as a group in two canoes tied together, creating our most stable craft. This session is open to all and is recommended for families.

If you’ve already earned your stripes, the Ullswater Canoe Trail has inspiration for short trips, as well as one and two-day routes around the lake with recommended points to stop.
