Coming back to good food after a day on the lake is at the heart of Another Place. The Living Space bar is our casual dining option. Expect deep-set sofas, views of the lake and a crowd-pleasing menu.

Rampsbeck Restaurant is a more formal dining experience. A three-course seasonal menu influenced by the flavours of the local landscape, from Douglas Fir salted cod cheeks to meadowsweet custard.

A relaxed space with an open kitchen and views of the lake.

Our three-course menu is inspired by the region’s produce – dishes that incorporate heritage ingredients and contemporary interpretations of flavours that occur naturally within the landscape.

The Living Space

The Living Space is a place for eating, meeting and lounging on sofas. Its food is fresh, bold and distinctive. Expect lamb tagine, burgers and fries, meze plates, salads, sourdough pizza and doorstep sandwiches.

The bar serves all the usual suspects, including Champagne, wine, coffee, cocktails and our favourite – a range of gins. The bright, comfortable space has doors onto the terrace.

The Living Space serves food between midday – 3pm, 5pm – 9.30pm.

Breakfast and coffee

At breakfast the restaurant becomes an open pantry. On the shelves are pastries, freshly squeezed juices, fruit, yoghurt, organic muesli, cereals, smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagels. From le Creuset pots you can dish a full English – while chefs whip you up an omelette, or make you porridge. The main event, though, is waffles – made by you in our waffle irons. We serve American drip coffee in old-style enamel coffee pots. If you aren’t a guest with us, we have a limited number of spaces we can offer. Book your table online through our Rampsbeck booking system. Subject to availability.
