FOOD & DRINK

Coming back to good food after a day on the lake is at the heart of Another Place. The Living Space bar is our casual dining option. Expect deep-set sofas, views of the lake and a crowd-pleasing menu.

Rampsbeck Restaurant is a more formal dining experience. A three-course seasonal menu influenced by the flavours of the local landscape, from Douglas Fir salted cod cheeks to meadowsweet custard.

Our three-course menu is inspired by the region’s produce – dishes that incorporate heritage ingredients and contemporary interpretations of flavours that occur naturally within the landscape.

Open for guests between 5pm – 9pm.

Our maximum table size is six. However, we may be able to accommodate groups larger than six if it is made up of one household or support bubble.

The Living Space

The Living Space is a place for eating, meeting and lounging on sofas. Its food is fresh, bold and distinctive. Expect lamb tagine, burgers and fries, meze plates, salads, sourdough pizza and doorstep sandwiches.

The bar serves all the usual suspects, including Champagne, wine, coffee, cocktails and our favourite – a range of gins. The bright, comfortable space has doors onto the terrace.

The Living Space serves food between midday – 3pm, 5pm – 9pm.

Our maximum table size is six. However, we may be able to accommodate groups larger than six if it is made up of two households or support bubble.

Breakfast and coffee

At breakfast the restaurant fills with the smell of waffles, made for you by our chefs. Grab and go pastries, freshly squeezed juices, fruit, yoghurt, organic muesli, cereals, smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagels. Of course you can order a full English – while chefs whip you up an omelette, or make you porridge. We serve American drip coffee in old-style enamel coffee pots. You must pre-book your breakfast slots, download our app and add it to your booking.

Escape to the Lake

Stay for two-nights during the week and eat at both The Living Space and Rampsbeck Restaurant. From £220 per person.
