Coming back to good food after a day on Ullswater lake is at the heart of Another Place.
The Living Space bar with deep-set sofas, views of the lake and a crowd-pleasing menu for lunch or dinner is our casual dining option.
Rampsbeck Restaurant offers a three-course seasonal menu influenced by the flavours of the local landscape.
At the end of the vegetable garden with panoramic views of the lake, you’ll find The Glasshouse serving pizzas on the lake shore.
Fresh, bold and distinctive flavours – sharing platters, rice bowls, curries, burgers, steak frites and interesting salads.
The Victorian-style Glasshouse is the closest building to the water’s edge. Neatly positioned next to the vegetable and herb garden with an outside terrace and panoramic views of the lake.
Start your day with a Cumbrian breakfast or after a day walking in the fells come back inside to a roaring fire, good ale and a warm welcome. The Brackenrigg Inn restaurant is a short distance from Another Place.
Swim & dine
Visit our Swim Club. Soak up the mountain view from the swimming pool and outdoor hot tub. Sip cocktails from the Living Space sofas and end the evening with a seasonal three-course dinner in Rampsbeck.

Available Sunday to Thursday outside of school holidays. Subject to availability.
Breakfast and coffee
At breakfast the restaurant fills with the smell of waffles, made for you by our chefs. Grab and go pastries, freshly squeezed juices, fruit, yoghurt, organic muesli, cereals, smoked salmon, cream cheese and bagels. Of course you can order a full English – while chefs make you porridge. We serve American drip coffee in old-style enamel coffee pots.

Stay for two-nights during the week and eat at both The Living Space and Rampsbeck Restaurant.
