A taste of what to expect

Arrive early. Leave your bags and explore. Find a spot by the fire for mulled wine and a mince pie. Spend some time in the library while the children are happy with making reindeer food and hot chocolate. Champagne tasting for the adults and wreath making for everyone. Finish it off with a lake swim beneath the stars with Colin Hill and live music in the Living Space.

We’re hoping the fells will be topped with snow and you can get outside for a brisk walk after breakfast. There’ll be archery, and kayaking on the lake. Little Chef's Pizza school for the children and storytime around the fire in the library. Join us in The Living Space for Christmas carols and festive drinks whilst the younger ones settle in for a Christmas movie in Kids' Zone.

There’ll be a Champagne breakfast with waffles and gifts around the tree, and maybe a visit from Father Christmas. Lunch is a festive feast with all the trimmings. Afterwards curl up in the library, lounge in Swim Club or get outside for a Christmas afternoon treasure hunt, and walk off lunch ready for supper.

Take some time over breakfast and then join the brave for a Boxing Day dip in the lake. Explore outside, on the lake or among the fells and then come back indoors for something warm. After dinner, there’ll be live music.

One final breakfast and a dip in the pool, before we have to say goodbye.
