Lake Dales loop

Ride the exciting new Lakes & Dales Loop and experience the ever-changing landscape as you circumnavigate the Lake District, England’s largest National Park. The route will also take in the Yorkshire Dales National Park, offering awesome views of iconic lakes and fell tops. With the six tour options of varying distances, the Lakes and Dales Loop makes it possible for people of any age or ability to get up close to many of Cumbria’s famous landscapes, beautiful villages, distinctive heritage and rich culture.

Although the route covers two National Parks, there is actually very little climbing involved on the bike with a total ascent of just 5172 metres. Considering there are towering peaks around every bend to take in, that’s not bad and makes it accessible to those of all fitness levels. What’s more, all the routes start from Penrith, just a short stretch of road away from your base at Another Place, The Lake.
