Take the plunge on our three-day wild swim camp, led by open water swim coach Colin Hill. Develop your cold swimming techniques, explore the bays and islands of the Ullswater Valley, and join like-minded swimmers as you take to the lake.

Reconnect body and mind under the gentle guidance of Pilates instructor Christy Karpanen from Boundless Body. Open to all abilities, focus on meditation and movement as you take in panoramic Ullswater views from the Glasshouse and lawn.

Get stronger, embrace the outdoors and take your fitness up a notch with personal trainer and coach Sophie Ingram from Re:Vert Fitness. This four-day break focuses on strength, conditioning, movement, and breathwork, before leading you out to hike in the wilds. Open to all abilities.

Breathe deep, feel the flow and get in sync with nature, mind and body. Greet the dawn with a sensory morning practice, explore breathwork and mindful movement, and unwind with gentle evening sessions on our yoga break with Julia Poole.

Our hotel grounds are set in 18 acres of Lake District National Park on the shores of Ullswater. Here you’ll find six shepherd huts, an architect-designed treehouse, Victorian inspired Glasshouse for our active break classes, and meadows stretching down to our private jetty on the lake shore.

Inside the hotel are 40 bedrooms, two restaurants, the library and Swim Club; our take on a spa, with treatment rooms and a 20 metre lake view swimming pool.

Take a wetsuit from the sheep shed, kayak or paddleboard round the lake or book onto a cold water swimming session with expert coach, Colin Hill.
