SPORTS BOOKING TERMS
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
A parent/ guardian must accompany any child under 18 years, on the session.
Some of our activities are physically challenging and you should disclose any pre-existing health conditions that may affect your ability to participate to the activity provider. You will do so at your own risk, and you may be asked by the activity provider to sign a medical disclaimer before taking part. The disclaimer is a legal document that may limit the activity provider’s liability to you, and it is important that you carefully review and understand the statements it contains before signing it.
Where you make a booking through us for an activity which is run by a third party activity provider, Another Place acts only as booking agent on behalf of that activity provider in arranging your Booking and taking payment. The activity provider is the activity organiser, contracts with you directly for delivery of the activity, and is responsible to you for that delivery. Another Place does not accept liability for any negligence or default on the part of the activity provider. This applies to any activity booked with an activity provider, whether booked directly, via a link on our website, or through our own booking system.
Ullswater Paddleboarding
Please arrive at the Sheep Shed 15 minutes prior to your session.
Stand-up paddleboard lessons are available for ages 7+ years, and 11+ years where detailed.
Rafted canoe lessons are available for 5+ years, Explore the Lake by canoe/ kayak is 10+ years.
Archery lessons are available for 7+ years.
Please refer to the details of the activity you are booking for specific age restrictions.
Open water swimming
Please arrive at the Sheep Shed 15 minutes prior to your session.
A 50% charge will apply to lessons cancelled within 48 hours of their scheduled start date. Cancellations within 24 hours will be charged at 100%.
Another Place reserves the right to cancel swimming lessons. We will endeavour to rearrange the lesson if possible.
Most open-water swimming adventures need a minimum of two people to go ahead. We will contact you 12 hours before your booking if there is only one person booked on the lesson, as we may have to cancel on the morning of the swim. We'll try to offer you an alternative, but you will receive a full refund if we cancel.
Should Another Place cancel a lesson a full refund will be offered if it has not been possible for you to rebook.

Endless pool
A 100% charge will apply to lessons cancelled within 48 hours of their scheduled start date.
Another Place reserves the right to cancel sports lessons. We will endeavour to rearrange the lesson if possible.
Should Another Place cancel a lesson a full refund will be offered if it has not been possible for you to rebook.
All lessons are subject to availability.
Fellside Sauna
Please arrive at the sauna 15 minutes prior to your session.
Cancellation of a sauna session before 48 hours of the scheduled start date can be refunded or rescheduled. Cancellations within 48 hours will be charged at 100%.
Another Place reserves the right to cancel sauna session. We will endeavour to rearrange the session if possible.
Should Another Place cancel a session a full refund will be offered if it has not been possible for you to rebook.

Hiking Highs
Guided hikes are available for participants aged 14 years and over. Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
All hikes are subject to a safety assessment by Hiking Highs of each participant's ability to take part.
Hikes require a minimum of two and a maximum of ten participants. We will let you know if the minimum hasn't been reached and try to offer an alternative; you'll receive a full refund if we're unable to rearrange your session.
A 100% charge will apply to guests who cancel within 24 hours of their scheduled start time.
Hiking Highs reserves the right to cancel a hike before or during any session where the weather forecast or conditions on the day risk the safety of guests. A full refund will be offered where a session is cancelled for this reason.
Guided hikes depart from Angle Tarn Pikes and do not take place on Another Place's grounds. You are responsible for making your own way to the starting point, details of which will be provided at the time of booking.
