About Ardnahoe

Founded in 2018, Ardnahoe is the much-anticipated Islay distillery from the Hunter Laing and Co. whisky dynasty. Ardnahoe takes its name from the distillery’s water source, Ardnahoe Loch, located just a stone’s throw away, providing exceptionally soft, mineral-rich water that has been filtered through peat and rock for thousands of years.

Ardnahoe's copper stills

The longest lyne arms in Scotland

The distillery’s copper stills boast the longest lyne arms in Scotland, with the increased copper contact creating an exceptionally pure spirit. A longer fermentation time lends Ardnahoe whiskies a fruity character, while the traditional Worm Tub Condenser (the only one on Islay) produces a distinctive waxy texture and rich taste.

Masters of elegant blends

Ardnahoe’s core bottlings include the smoky and zesty Infinite Loch, the red fruit, peat smoke and peppery finish of Bholsa, and the coastal brine, cocoa and orchard fruit-infused Cask Strength.
