We’re bringing the Wimbledon courtside atmosphere, lakeside, with an open-air cinema screen showing the tennis finals, alongside children’s films and big-screen classics.

Swap the frenzy of Henman Hill for the sweep of Ullswater’s fells this July as we serve up a tennis experience to remember on The Glasshouse lawn.
Get into the summer spirit with traditional garden games on the grass and strawberries and cream from The Glasshouse. Visit Rosie, the vintage Citroen Champagne Laurent-Perrier van, for a lake-view glass of Cuvée Rosé. Bring a picnic blanket and settle in for the afternoon.
Open to guests and non-resident guests.
Films
Join us for a seven days in high summer, where a 4 metre pop-up cinema on the lawn by the Glasshouse will screen Wimbledon’s second week in the build-up to and including the finals weekend.
In between court coverage, get stuck into giant jenga, boules and lawn croquet, there'll also be children’s films and cinema classics alongside tennis-themed films that will light up the night as the sun sets behind the fells.
Expect films like Wimbledon, Jumanji and Top Gun Maverick. Peter Rabbit, Swallows and Amazons and Paddington.
Films shown at 4pm and 7.30pm.

Food and drink
Laze in a retro deckchair, English strawberries and double scoop ice cream in hand. Dip into a picnic hamper among summer blooms and our wildflower meadow.
Share woodfired pizza from The Glasshouse, seasonal cocktails from The Living Space terrace and Fever Tree G&Ts from our pop-up summer bar.
The Glasshouse is open Tuesday 9 to Sunday 14 July from midday.
