Dalemain marmalade martini cocktail recipe

Our take on the classic marmalade martini pays homage to the annual Dalemain Marmalade Festival. The combination of thin cut marmalade, vodka and Cointreau make for a bitter-sweet cocktail.

Marmelade martini

35ml vodka
15ml Cointreau
1 tbsp marmalade
10ml blood orange juice

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice, shake, strain and serve in a martini glass.

Garnish with a spiral of orange peel and a candied slice.

Judging takes place in January and the awards will be announced at the festival on 20 April Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens will be open from 10am – 4pm on 20 & 21 April.

These artisan awards promote small scale producers using the open-pan method. They put marmalade makers on the map and winners can display their ‘Gold’ ‘Silver’ or ‘Bronze’ Award rounds on their jars, declaring their marmalade as one of the best quality preserves in the world.
