Easter activities on Ullswater
EASTER AT THE LAKE
Get active down at the lakeshore with a range of activities over the Easter holidays. Let the children try their hands at archery or join you in the water for canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding with our experienced instructors.
EASTER KIDS' ZONE ACTIVITIES
Science Booth
Saturday 30 March at 6.30pm
Crazy chemistry show, with an interactive science workshop.
Come to an evening of amazing science experiments in the Kids Zone, with plenty of bangs, pops and flames.
Places need to be booked, sessions are limited to 20 children, aged 3-12years
Claire's Cool Creatures
Sunday 7 April at 11am
Meet animals from all over the world right here on our Living Space. Come face to face with a giant African land snail, a Giant African millipede, a tree frog, a royal python snake, a silkie hen and a crested gecko. Find out more about where they are from, what they eat and their habitat.
Everyone is welcome, no need to book.
Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian.
Story time yoga

Come and join us in Kids Zone for this fun and interactive yoga and storytelling event! Book your space now for an upbeat and magical yoga session with a lovely story theme.
Sessions are limited to 20 children, aged 3-12 years
ACTIVITIES IN KIDS’ ZONE
Throughout half term there will be a series of exciting, age appropriate activities and games in our supervised sessions
6mths to under 3years: 3.45pm to 5.15pm
3-7 years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm
8-12years: 1.15-3.15 pm & 6.30-9.30pm

ARCHERY
7+ years | £20 per person
Our coaches run through the basics of archery for children and adults. Theory and safety, then shooting at targets in the hotel grounds.
STAND UP PADDLEBOARDING
A great family activity, Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUPing) is accessible, easy to learn and seriously fun. Our fully qualified instructors tailor every session. There’s no age limit and no special skills are required.
CANOEING
Starting from the hotel, paddle and float your way around the lake in the company of a qualified instructor in either a kayak (adults) or a canoe (families) and take in all that the valley has to offer.
