Lagavulin Boulevardier cocktail recipe

We’re raising a glass to World Whisky Day on 19 May and Islay’s famous whisky festival Fèis Ìle this 23-31 May with this special whisky cocktail.

If you’re a Negroni fan, then you’ll love the classic Boulevardier - typically made with Bourbon whisky instead of gin - loved for its balance of bitter, boozy and sweet.

In this Islay twist, we’ve swapped the Bourbon for Lagavulin 16, a single malt aged for at least 16 years in oak casks with a massive peat-smoke flavour that’s typical of southern Islay. Rich and warming, it’s the drink you want to reach for on a cool Islay evening.
