This April, Daff Fest returns to the Eden Valley for a second year of springtime celebrations. From 7 – 30 April take part in a colourful series of events that encourage everybody, no matter what your age, to delight in daffodils and the arrival of springtime.
During the three weeks of Daff Fest there are endless reasons to visit England’s most beautiful lake. From guided walks with Lake District National Park rangers to garden tours, daffodil trails and theatre performances, there’s something to capture everybody’s imagination.
Another Place, The Lake is a member of the Ullswater Association who, together with other local businesses, set up Daff Fest as a celebration of the rejuvenation of the valley in spring 2016.

The Ullswater Yacht Club Easter Regatta
15 – 17 April | The first big regatta of the year. Line the shores of Ullswater for the ten races over three days.
Daff Trails with Ullswater Steamers
Follow and explore the daffodil trail between Aira Force and Glenridding/ Pooley Bridge to win prizes. Quiz sheets and more details can be found at www.ullswater-steamers.co.uk
Five guided walks led by the Lake District National Park volunteer rangers, taking in the stunning vistas from around the Ullswater valley.
Rheged children’s activities
Spring-themed craft sessions for families everyday throughout Daff Fest at Rheged. Gnome treasure hunts, paint a daff pot and make a stained glass daffodil window decoration.
