As a nod to Rheged’s live screening of The Royal Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker this December, we’ve created a winter cocktail by the same name. Introducing… The Nutcracker.
Temperatures continue to fall in the Lake District, with more snow forecast over the next few weeks. Combining all of our favourite festive flavours, our whisky-based recipe will certainly warm you up.
The Nutcracker will be served in The Living Space. Here’s the recipe so you can make it at home too.
50ml Pedro Ximénez Sherry
Small dash bitters
Pinch of cinnamon
Shake all ingredients together
Pour over ice into a large goblet glass
Garnish with cinnamon stick
Sip and enjoy
Burn the cinnamon stick for around five seconds to release the sweet and spicy aroma.
