There are a range of rooms to suit all guests from Comfy and Cosy rooms through to the two-bed family Lodges, all spacious with stunning views of the surrounding countryside or ocean. The Machrie is dog friendly.

18 Restaurant & Bar

Headed up by chef Calum Hall and with a panoramic view across the links golf course, 18 Restaurant serves seasonal dishes using the best locally-sourced ingredients. The menus celebrate the best of Scotland with fresh seafood from the nearby shores and showcases small-scale farmers and artisan businesses.

There is a bar and lounges throughout the hotel, each with different views of Islay, serving food and drinks, including world-class single malts from the island.

World-class golf

The championship links course at The Machrie is a unique experience designed to enhance the drama of the natural landscape. The course continues to win accolades and is an aspirational destination amongst the golf fraternity. To support the golf course there are state-of-the-art practice facilities and a 3-par wee course which is both fun for families and essential to perfect the experienced golfers short game.
