Follow old tracks to Little Langdale and Slater Bridge. Then to the famous Cathedral Cave with optional underground visit. Return along woodland paths by Hodge Close.

Learn basic navigation skills outdoors in small, friendly groups. Map and compass provided. Adults only.

STEAMER, DALE AND FELL GUIDED WALK – SATURDAY 19 MAY

Cruise on the Ullswater Steamer to Howtown then walk over Beda Fell to view the ancient deer forest of Bannerdale. Return by Boredale Hause. Includes two Wainwright summits.

Walk by Lanty’s Tarn to Silver Bay on Ullswater.
