Changing seasons in the Lakes

Sailing on Ullswater in the Lake District

Winter took everybody by surprise this year by trying on its coat for size in early November. The fells previously bursting with autumn colour turned white over night after over three feet of snow was dusted. The awesome snow conditions saw lots of mountain enthusiasts take to the slopes of Raise, home to the Lake District Ski Club.

Snow-capped fells, beautiful sunsets and the clear night sky are just some of the reasons we love exploring the Lake District in winter. But don’t just take our word for it. They say a picture speaks a thousand words, so we thought we’d share with you our postcards from the Lakes…

This time next year we’ll be getting ready for our first Christmas house party at Another Place, The Lake. To join the festivities and book your stay, please call 01768 486442.
